Starting Salary of Fresh Degree Graduates in Singapore 2010

Looking at Ministry of Manpower’s survey released on Jun 2011, we have a good indication of the starting pay earned by grads from Singapore universities after they found their very first jobs and start working. The respondents graduated with their degrees from the 3 local universities: Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Management University (SMU).

The table shows the preliminary average and median gross monthly starting salary of the graduates from the respective degree programmes. Monthly gross starting pay comprises of the basic salary, fixed allowances, overtime pay and commissions but exclude bonuses.

The degree programmes are ranked ranked based on the average monthly salary. This ranking provides an estimate of the degrees with the highest starting salary.
